ORANGEBURG, SC – South Carolina State will conduct its annual “Press and Picture” Day Saturday (Aug. 6), beginning at 9 a.m. at O.C. Dawson Bulldog Stadium.
Players and Coach Buddy Pough will be available for interviews following team and individual pictures.
The Bulldogs will hold their fifth preseason practice later in the day, beginning at 7 p.m.
SC State finished 9-3 (7-1 MEAC) in 2010, shared the conference title and made its third straight appearance in the FCS playoffs.
The Bulldogs, who have been picked to win the MEAC crown for a fourth straight season, open the 2011 campaign Sept. 1 in a Thursday night contest at Central Michigan. Kickoff is 7 p.m. EST.
SC State opens it home schedule Sept. 24 against Delaware State in a 2 p.m. contest.
