ORANGEBURG, SC—South Carolina State University will honor it's 2011 Mid-Eastern Athletic Tennis Champions, The Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs with a “Salute and Send-off” Wednesday , May 4, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. in the STATE Room (Hugine Suites).

      Coach Hardeep Judge and the tennis team will be recognized for winning their seventh-straight Mid-Eastern Athletic crown on the women's side, its last seventh-of-eight league titles with the men.

        Mayor Paul Miller will present both teams with a proclamation of the city as well as some surprise guests congratulate Coach Judge and The MEAC Champs for a job well done.

        Both The Lady Bulldogs (16-2 overall, 4-0 MEAC) and Bulldogs (13-4 overall, 3-0 league) will find out their first-round opponent in the NCAA Division I Tennis Championships Tuesday, May 3, during a live web broadcast of the NCAA Tennis Selection show on www.ncca.org, beginning at 5 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
