ORANGEBURG, SC – The South Carolina State track and field teams will continue their 2010 outdoor season, this weekend (Fri-Sat, April 2-3), when they travel to Gainesville, Florida for the 66th Pepsi Florida Relays this Friday and Saturday at James G. Pressly Track on the campus of the University of Florida.
In addition to SC State, teams slated to compete at this years meet are fellow MEAC Foe Bethune-Cookman, Alabama, Buffalo, Clemson, host Florida, Florida State, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ole Miss, Penn State, South Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, UAB and UCF. The meet will also feature several professional track and field athletes.
The SC State men and women, both coached by third-year head coach Tyree Price, will be trying to add to those who have already qualified for the upcoming Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Championships at Greensboro which will be contested May 5-6.
