BUIES CREEK, SC – The South Carolina State women's golf team, Monday, carded an 18-hole team total of 333 and is in sixth place in the 10-team Fighting Camels Classic at the par-72 , 6012-yard course at the Keith Hills Country Club.

Host Campbell leads the field with an 18-hole total of 292. Appalachian State is second at 311, followed by Presbyterian and Towson, both at 326. Cleveland State is fifth at 332, followed by the Lady Bulldogs, one stroke back.

Cabriel Duren had an 8-over par 80 to lead SC State. Honesty Biggers carded an 83, followed by Addi McLaren and Geneva Mackey, both with an 85.

The final round of the two-day, 36-hole event will be played Tuesday, weather permitting. Inclement weather was forecast for the Buies Creek area.
