ORANGEBURG, SC – The South Carolina State men's and women's tennis teams will receive their 2009 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Championship rings Monday during a special ceremony between games of the SC State – Florida A&M doubleheader at S-H-M Memorial Center, which gets underway at 5:30 p.m.

The SC State women captured their fifth straight MEAC title in 2009 and made their fifth consecutive trip to the prestigious NCAA Tennis Championship. The men's team, meanwhile, earned its fifth crown in six seasons and also made as many appearances in the NCAA Championship.

Both teams are coached by nine-year head coach Hardeep Judge.
