ORANGEBURG, SC – Two South Carolina State freshmen will be among the participants at the 2010 USA Junior National Track and Field Championships hosted by Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa June 24-27. Representing SC State will be former Spartanburg High School teammates Arnetra Frazier and Erica Peake, both sprinters.

GREENSBORO, NC – South Carolina State sophomore Monique Gracia tied her personal record with a time of 13.69 in the 100 meter hurdles Friday at the NCAA East Preliminary Round at Irwin Belk Track on the North Carolina A&T campus, however, the Miami native finished 28^th overall in the event and only the top 24 advanced to Saturday’s quarterfinals. The Lady Bulldogs’ Alexandria Jones, another sophomore, also failed to advance in the 200 meters.

GREENSBORO, NC – Ten (10) members of the South Carolina State track teams will be among some 1,900 student athletes from 166 colleges and universities trying to earn berths in the 2010 NCAA Outdoor Championships.
