SC State to Salute MEAC Champion Men's & Women's Tennis Team

ORANGEBURG, SC— South Carolina State University will salute it’s 2009 Men’s & Women’s Championship Tennis Teams Friday May 1, at 11:30 a.m. at the K.W. Green Student Center inside the Bulldog Lounge on the campus of SC State.

 

The Bulldogs clinched their fifth NCAA appearance since 2004 and eighth MEAC title overall, while the Lady Bulldogs are making their fifth consecutive appearance and automatic berth by defeating FAMU.

 

Everyone is cordially invited as administration, faculty, staff, community officials, and loyal Bulldog fans and supporters honor Coach Hardeep Judge and the tennis teams on a great season.

 

Both men’s & women’s teams will battle the University of Georgia in the first-round of the NCAA Championships. The men will begin play Friday May 8, beginning at 4 p.m., with women’s play set for  Saturday May 9, in a 1 p.m. showdown.

 

Tickets for the NCAA Tournament matches are available for purchase in advance online via www.georgiadogs.com or by calling 1-877-542-1231. Tickets will also go on sale two hours before the first match each day at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex. General admission tickets are $5 for Adults and $3 for Students (college-aged and younger).
