ORANGEBURG, SC – South Carolina State, Saturday, in a dress rehearsal for its Sept. 4 opener at Georgia Tech, conducted its final preseason scrimmage. The Bulldogs dressed in shells (shorts, helmets and shoulder pads) for the approximately two-hour workout in which the first team earned a 19-2 win over the reserves.
ORANGEBURG, SC – South Carolina State, Friday, held a light practice in shorts and helmets in preparation for the team’s final scrimmage on Saturday, beginning at 1 p.m. at Oliver C. Dawson Stadium.

ORANGEBURG, SC – South Carolina State began its in-season practice routine Sunday as the Bulldogs moved closer to their Sept. 4 opener against Georgia Tech in Atlanta ( 1 p.m.). The SC State players began their introductory preparation for the Yellow Jackets, the reigning Atlantic Coast Conference champions.
ORANGEBURG, SC – It was a long day for the South Carolina State football team, which began the day with a morning scrimmage, which was followed by the annual “Meet the Players Day and Fan Fest.”
ORANGEBURG, SC – The Bulldogs of South Carolina State returned to the practice field Friday afternoon after taking a day and a half off. The Bulldog workout was in shorts, helmets and shoulder pads only, however, SC State’s Buddy Pough said the drill was extensive.
