PINE HURST, NC – The South Carolina State women's golf team carded a 332 Tuesday (Nov. 3) to shave 11 strokes off its first-round total, however, the Lady Bulldogs were unable to climb in the standings in finishing 15th at the Pine Hurst Fall Challenge played at the Pine Hurst No. 6 course. The Lady Bulldogs finished the event with a 36-hole total (343-332) of 675.
Host College of Charleston won the event with a 36-hole total of (291-293) 594.
Junior Honesty Biggers was the leader for SC State again, carding a 2-over par 74 on Tuesday to go with an opening round 81 for a 36-hole total of 155. Her Tuesday round included three birdies and her first collegiate eagle, which came on the par 5 sixth hole on the famed course.
Cabriel Duren had an 82 Tuesday, matching her first round score to finish at 164, followed by Addi McLaren with a (86-86) 172 and Geneva Mackey with a (92-91) 183. Also participating for the Lady Bulldogs were Allison Brown and Marina Terry, who shot a 91 and 102, respectively, on Tuesday.
