Stewart Earned MEAC Weekly Cross-Country Honors

ORANGEBURG, SC – South Carolina State women's cross-country runner Brittney Stewart has been named Cross-Country Female Athlete of the Week by the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.

Stewart led the Lady Bulldogs to a third place finish at the Citadel Invitational last Saturday. A 5-5 freshman from Warner Robins, GA (Warner Robins HS) finished in ninth place (out of 43 competitors) completing the 5K course with a time of 19:51.73
