Virginia Beach, VA—The SC State women’s volleyball team will be the third seed in the Southern Division for the 2009 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Volleyball Championships.
SC State finished its 2009 regular season campaign, 13-19 overall and 4-4 in the Southern Division of the MEAC.

The SC State women’s volleyball team displayed a lot of hustle but came up short, as they fell to The Citadel, 1-3, (17-25, 20-25, 25-20, 13-25) in a non-conference matchup in McAlister Field House. With the lost the Lady Bulldogs fell to 13-18 while the Citadel Bulldogs improve to 8-23.

The SC State women’s volleyball team will be among thousands of teams from around the country to participate in DiG PiNK. This year the Lady Bulldogs will hold its DiG PiNK game on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 when they host Coastal Carolina in a non-conference match-up. First serve is set for 6 p.m. in the Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center on the campus of SC State.

Orangeburg, SC—The SC State Lady Bulldogs defeated the Lady Rams of Winston-Salem State, 3-0, (25-14, 25-16, 25-16), in a non-conference volleyball match-up in Dukes Gymnasium. With the victory, the Lady Bulldogs picked up its second win in a row.
SC State dominated the match from start to finish. The Lady Bulldogs put down 40 kills with a hitting percentage of .321 while holding the Lady Rams to just 19 kills and a hitting percentage of .013.
